The clothes box

We're currently in the process of building a new house. Hopefully, we will be able to move in around august. My current room, however, is quite small and my wardrobe was over flowing. So the other night i took everything out of it and started to reorganize it. I moved some of the clothes that i wont be wearing during the winter into storage, so that most of my hangers contain only 1 or 2 pieces of clothing. Before, each hanger held 3 pieces as a minimum so its such a relief to be able to see my clothes properly! I also got one of those hanging 10 shelf shoe organizers from Kmart and put all my scarves in it. Mind you, even that was too long for the wardrobe so one of the shelves is folded on the bottom..

This will hold me over until we move in. I can't wait to see the finished house because i've been designing it. It's been very exciting. Maybe i went into the wrong profession.. i should have done interior design instead of science. I guess the end product will tell :)

21st birthday photos

I found a few photos on my iPad that I took on my birthday this year. It was my 21st and I spent the day with friends n family. I had lunch with my mum and then went back to the office where they bought cake and ice cream to celebrate. We're like a big family thanks to all of them, although I don't doubt they were all very happy to have a reason to eat cake :P

This above is my friend Olga who took me out for a nice catch up/goss session + cake :) That cake is absolutely amazing. It's made from nougat and we couldn't even finish it, it's so rich..

 Of course we ended the day with some shopping, haircut for olgz, silly photos and a complimentary makeup session at napoleon, which doesn't come up properly in the photo above... My phone camera is horrible quality but the girl who did it was so nice and made my eyes look amazing with rose, gold and black colours.
It's Monday today and I'm already waiting for the weekend *sigh*

First blog post ever! I've been thinking of starting a blog for awhile now and have finally gotten around to it. The bad part about this is that there are already so many ways to procrastinate and I've just created another! Anyway i'll leave it at that, it's quite late and uni is on tomorrow.
